Though I have been writing since I was a child, my most radiant thoughts took to pen and paper most wildly during COVID. I sat on the stairs of my house for hours and hours, pouring the words that came like the vomit of my mind into an unused school notebook. Out came compositions of plays, TV sitcom pilot episodes, even a stand up set that made it once past the computer screen. I was fortunate to have found Play Cafe again after having worked with their branch company Musical Cafe, and got the opportunity to present my work.

In 2023, I paired with Play Cafe in Berkeley, CA for their Scene Reading workshops on my current plays. Notable table members included Jamie Greenblatt, dramaturg Anthony Clarvoe, and actors Miyoko Sakatani and Alan Coyne.

In April 2024, I co-wrote an adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland: A Radio Podcast”. It was produced in Newark, CA for one weekend with One Stage Theatre and is available for streaming on CUR8.com.

In January 2025, I was commissioned to adapt the classic children’s story “Puss in Boots” into an audio play for One Stage Theatre. It was produced in May 2025 and is now available for streaming on CUR8.com. I will finish out this year’s commission with an adaptation for audio play with “The Snow Queen”, which will be produced and released at the end of the year. Both projects will be released in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language.
